| New Brunswick Bow Hunter Education | |

| Must be at least 13 years of age | |
| Description: | |
| All bow hunters in New Brunswick are required to complete the Bow Hunter Education Courses. The New Brunswick Bow Hunter Education Association (NBBEA) teaches the course on behalf of this department. If you are an experienced bow hunter who does not have a course – Call your District office for more information. Approximately eight hours of classroom and field activities. Topics are: • History of modern bow hunting • Your responsibilities as a bow hunter • Preparing to hunt with a bow • Bow hunting equipment and how it works • Hunting with a bow • Bow hunting emergencies and first aid • Tree stand safety Courses are usually given Saturday or Sunday in the spring and fall. Firearms Safety/Hunter Education is no longer required. For course schedules and registration information please contact your closest DNR Ranger Office. |
