| The Department of Business New Brunswick drives New Brunswick’s economic development strategy through three key priorities: • Aggressive investment attraction – We get the word out among international corporate leaders that New Brunswick is the place to be in business, focusing on knowledge-based industries, value-added natural resources, bio-technologies and advanced manufacturing • Business retention and expansion – We help traditional resource and manufacturing industries be more profitable by targeting emerging markets and improving energy efficiency and productivity. • Cluster development – We build on our existing research communities and resource-based industries to create business clusters that focus on advanced learning, biosciences, health, energy, aerospace and defence and advanced manufacturing. |
