| Under the Regional Development Corporation Act, the mandate of the Corporation is to: a) administer and manage development agreements between the Province of New Brunswick and the Government of Canada; b) assist in the establishment and development of enterprises and institutions operated by corporations, trusts, partnerships, societies and individuals; c) assist in the establishment and development of facilities relating to tourism and recreation; d) assist municipalities in planning and development works or projects of benefit to the general public; e) prepare plans for regional development; f) coordinate and guide regional development; and g) carry out other duties assigned by the Lieutenant-Governor-in-Council. |
